We are able to sell our tyres at a low cost because of our bulk buying power. We are not tied to any one supplier or tyre dealers so we are able to buy tyres for the best prices & pass the saving on to you, the customer! We do NOT believe in  "cheap tyres", our emphasis is on quality, safety & durability. Getting a puncture has to be one of the most frustrating and irritating aspects of driving hence, to help you in the hour of need we offer free lifetime cover for puncture repairs on all tyres supplied and fitted by us.

Wheel balancing

Any feel of vibration should be investigated, as it will cause premature tyre wear, decrease the service life of steering components, damage wheel bearings & cause poor handling and the first & cheapest initial item to check is wheel balancing. This is carried out free of charge with our new tyres.

• We offer wheel balancing service from £3.50 +VAT per wheel.

Front tracking/wheel alignment

Incorrectly adjusted front wheel alignment causes increased tyre wear, poor handling, reduces braking efficiency & cornering stability but very rarely causes the car/steering to pull. We have laser tracking for wheel & alignment equipment.

• front or rear wheel laser tracking– for only £25 +VAT.

Rear tracking/wheel alignment

Incorrectly adjusted rear wheel alignment will cause the same problems as front tracking but will also cause the car to steer/pull to the left or right. Rear wheel tracking cannot be adjusted independently & must be incorporated with front wheel tracking. For this service we offer:

Puncture repairs

If you pick up a nail or screw in your tyre, we offer a puncture repair service and the charge for repairing a tyre puncture is £18 for normal tyre and £21 for flat tyre. The repair we carry out of the permanent vulcanising type and is available provided that your puncture is relatively central in the tyre tread. 

We are unable to repair punctures either in the side wall of a tyre. All puncture repairs include replacing the standard valve & balancing the wheel. 

Please allow a little more time for a puncture repair as they take longer than a tyre replacement. You may be able to drive to us with a nail in the tyre. This is because radial tyres have a soft butyl liner that seals around small penetrations to prevent sudden air loss. This minimises the risk of high speed sudden loss of pressure and allows a "get to safety" option. If you remove a screw or nail, the tyre will deflate quickly and you will need a roadside tyre change, not best place to do the job!
Note: Puncture repairs are free for the life of the tyre if the tyre was originally supplied and fitted by us.

Reading a tyre size

205 - means the tyre has a nominal section width of 205 millimetres
55 - sidewall height is 55% of tyre nominal section width
R - means radial
16 - means it fits a 16" diameter wheel
91 - Load rating index
W - means it's rated for speeds up 168mph
